At our evening service on Sunday, August 1st, we will have special guests with us! Eli and Bethany Fader, who we support as missionaries to Sudan (Africa), are on break in the U.S. and will be making a special trip to Canton, OH to share about their ministry with Ekklesia!
Both Eli and Bethany grew up in Africa as both of their parents were missionaries in Africa! They met when they were in school and felt God calling them to Sudan to be missionaries themselves someday. They moved to Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and that is where they met Pastor James and Tiffanie. Both couples lived in the same apartment building for years and have been friends ever since. Ekklesia has been praying for and supporting the Faders since they moved to Sudan and we are so excited to hear about how things have been going over the past few years.
Some of the many things the Faders have been doing are: establishing long term relationships with the people and church in Sudan, providing medical help, training pastors and church leaders, building a very important bridge for the area villages, and generally sharing God's love with the tribes of Sudan. This part of Africa can be very dangerous and they have persevered in their ministry despite a nationwide deportation of foreigners in Sudan and their village being attacked.
On Sunday, August 1st Eli and Bethany will be speaking at our 7pm church service. Come see and hear about what God is doing in Sudan!
